Sharp Media Interactive Development opened its doors in February of 2007. Began by its two co-founders, Mark Hemingway and Cahlan Sharp, Sharp Media has successfully provided dozens of clients across the United States with dynamic, technology-driven learning solutions for the last 2+ years.

Cahlan is the president of Sharp Media Interactive Development. He is father and husband in a family of four and has a great passion for technology and the affordances and societal advances that it brings us. He is a self-made developer, with a great desire to create meaningful and rich user experiences. Cahlan is self-taught in web technologies and languages such as Flash (ActionSript 2.0 & 3.0), Flex, Adobe AIR, PHP, and has been developing web technology applications for over five years.

Cahlan will be receiving his Masters of Science in Instructional Technology and Psychology from Brigham Young University in 2010.

Mark comes from an Information Systems background and has extensive experience with web application programming, including Flash (ActionScript) and server-side scripts. These technologies coupled with his knowledge of Instructional Design have allowed him to create rich and dynamic learning content. He has consulted on Flash and Elearning projects involving Microsoft and Adobe certification programs, developed multi-lingual LMS-hosted course content for companies all across the United States, and has provided consulting help for dozens of Lectora users worldwide.

Mark completed a Bachelors of Science in Information Systems from Brigham Young University Idaho, and continued on to complete a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology from Utah State University. He is married to his dream girl and is a father of 4 boys. He has presented at the Trivantis ® Lectora ® Users Conference on Flash ® and Lectora ® integration, and is a well-respected and sought-after resource for E-learning development.

The Sharp Media team is a dynamic group of individuals with backgrounds in computer science, multimedia, graphic arts, and instructional design. Our team is not necessarily set any particular technology, rather we focus on providing the most appropriate solution to solve or clients problems.
